A long friendship
Taylor and I have been friends for a long time, ever since I moved to the Midwest, and we've shot together multiple times. She is amazingly talented and one of the kindest, most collaborative people I've ever met.
These are from a fall morning at Ledges State Park in Iowa. The photos cover just under an hour, moving from a picnic table to a road and a bridge to an old stone building, and the clip at the top of this page is Taylor walking through the creek.
The picnic table came first, on a Viltrox 75mm at f/1.2. That lens turns the sun through the trees into soft circles behind Taylor. The two black and white frames that go completely out of focus are in here because the shape is enough on its own.
